Former Education Principal Secretary Karega Mutahi is dead.
The news of his death was announced by Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital Chairperson Olive Mugenda, who eulogised him as “a good friend and former boss.”
“He was the pragmatic PS who got the assignments right and got the work done,” said Mugenda on Sunday, October 27,
She noted that when the Kenyatta University Hospital was almost completed, Mutahi stepped up to chair the operationalization committee.
Mugenda said the resulting “Karega report” significantly contributed to the hospital's operations.
