KCB captain Maurice Owino scored a stoppage time header to send KCB five points clear at the top of the FKF Premier League after helping the bankers to a 2-1win over FC Talanta at Dandora Stadium on Friday.
The league leaders headed into the match behind their shocking 1-0 defeat to Mathare United before the international break two weeks ago and they needed to respond against Talanta.
Francis Kahiro scored his sixth goal of the 2024-2025 season to give the bankers a 1-0 half time lead when he found the back of the net in the 18th minute.
In the final half, Emmanuel Osoro restored parity and though he had rescued a point for the struggling Talanta when he rose high and headed home December Kisaka’s cross in the 90th minute.
However, the bankers were never done as Owino sealed maximum points for KCB six minutes later.
