A section of Western leaders have censured Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka for opposing the broad-based government.
Led by Busia Governor Paul Otuoma, the leaders asked Kalonzo to focus on building his support base ahead of the 2027 General Election instead of lamenting about the government.
Dr Otuoma announced that Western region supports the newly found bromance between President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga and those dissatisfied should chart their political course.
“We have heard certain leaders stating that the current government should be overthrown. We do not want to go the military way. There is no shortcut to ascending to power let us respect the government in place even if it is bad and the honorable thing for the dissenting voices to do is to prepare and meet leaders who will be on the ballot be it President Ruto or any other leaders,” he said.
