Rugby fans across the country have a reason to rejoice as the much-anticipated Enterprise Cup semifinal matches are set to resume on Saturday.
After a brief hiatus to accommodate the 2024 Rugby Super Series, which concluded last weekend with Menengai Cream Cheetahs crowned champions, the Enterprise Cup action returns in full swing.
Defending champions Kabras Sugar will face Nondescripts at the Kakamega Showground in Kakamega Town. The Millers, aiming for their fourth consecutive title, are embarking on their quest to reach the final.
Kabras Sugar reached this stage effortlessly, receiving walkovers from Mwamba RFC and Strathmore Leos in the pre-quarter and quarter-final rounds.
Their opponents, Nondies RFC, secured a semifinal slot by defeating Mean Machine 12-3 in the quarterfinals. Prior to this, they advanced past Mount Kenya University (MKU) Thika with a walkover in the round of 16.

Simultaneously, at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka, the Bankers will lock horns with Kenya Harlequins. KCB earned their semifinal spot by dominating the Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA) Monks 70-3 in the pre-quarterfinals and crushing Northern Suburbs 65-7 in the quarterfinals.
In contrast, Quins have yet to play a full match in the Enterprise Cup this year. They progressed from the round of 16 due to a walkover by United States International University (USIU) and saw their quarterfinal match against Kenyatta University Blak Blad abandoned due to the absence of a well-equipped ambulance.
