“I will remember him (Kenyatta) as a President who had no regard for the law,” says Maraga, during an exclusive interview on KTN News with Sophia Wanuna. The ex-CJ said the President exhibited his defiance of the law yet again when he failed to appoint six judges out of the 40 recommended to him by JSC. “It is the role of Parliament to remove him if he violates the constitution,” added Maraga. He also blames the opposition for not telling President Kenyatta the truth when he violates the constitution, adding that BBI will not fix the problem of electoral injustice.
