The CEO was among the players who opened the pristine Muthaiga Golf Course during the MKO Pro-Am event where she played alongside the 2021 MKO champion Justin Harding of South Africa, Seimos Golf and Turf Management CEO Edwin Kiarie and Paul Njoroge in a very exciting four-ball.
"People know KTN and the Standard Group as big when it comes to the delivery of sport. This is true as we support so many games; from football, to cricket, kickboxing, AFCON and now golf. Our 24/7 channels are like no other, you can watch any sport you want and partnering with MKO in this global golf tournament is a testament to who we really are," she reiterated.
While hailing the four-ball contingent she competed with on the lush, green Muthaiga fairways, she said: "We had a good batch, I learnt a few things from them, the round was very exciting and Muthaiga is really a beautiful course.”
She further added: "The Open and the Standard Group have so many things in common, from legacy to consistency. As a company, we are going through our ups and downs but the journey to going up is just right clear for me and the rest of the company members."
Her sentiments were echoed by Standard Group Radio General Manager Edwin Kwambai who also had a good round of golf in Muthaiga.
"This partnership with MKO only means that we are getting better and better every day, it shows we are all up with the big boys of the media industry," Kwambai said.
