Murang'a schools shine in KCPE with top candidates

Three public schools in Murang'a County have emerged as the best performers in the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations. The schools are Emmanuel Primary School Kangari, Technology Primary School, and Vidhu Ramji Primary School.
Emmanuel Primary School Kangari, run by the Catholic Diocese of Murang'a, had the highest number of candidates with over 400 marks, with 28 students achieving this feat. The school also produced the top three candidates in the county: Mannesh Kuria (416 marks), Lauren Wangui (416 marks), and Faith Njoki (416 marks).
Technology Primary School came in second place with 15 candidates scoring over 400 marks. The school's top performers were Peter Macharia (414 marks), Purity Blessings (410 marks), and Maxwel Maina (406 marks).
Vidhu Ramji Primary School also had 15 candidates with over 400 marks, including Ryan Mwangi, who emerged as the best male candidate in the county with 419 marks. The school's top female candidate, Mutugi Kellen Njoki, scored 418 marks.
Kabati Fly Over Academy also produced two candidates with over 400 marks.

The headmistress of Technology Primary School, Mrs Beatrice Wachira, expressed her satisfaction with the school's performance and wished the students well in their future endeavours. "We had a good class and hope they will join their favourite secondary schools," she said.
The top performers in the 2023 KCPE exams in Murang'a County are a testament to the high quality of education in the county. These students have set a high standard for future generations to follow.
