Their statements come just a day after violent clashes between two rival groups—one identifying itself as “G12” and another, resulting in serious injuries to several youths. Victims, along with the concerned MCAs, claim that G12 operates as a political gang, harassing locals for months to settle political rivalries in the subcounty.
"Resorting to violence is a sign of immaturity and demonstrates unpreparedness for leadership. The subcounty is rich in resources and educated individuals; such ugly scenes will not take us forward," Mibei said.
In response, Ngeno dismissed the accusations of his involvement with the G12 gang and criticized the two MCAs for trying to gain a political advantage by invoking his name.
He urged politicians to practice mature politics and avoid dragging others into their conflicts. “I have noticed the two leaders calling for my arrest following the violence in Emurua Dikiir Town after the youth clashes. In such situations, the truth is often the first casualty."
