The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced a significant partnership with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) as the official Free-to-Air (FTA) broadcast partner for the FKF Premier League.
In this seven-year collaboration, the Federation is set to receive Sh191 million for the inaugural season, with an annual increment of Sh15 million for subsequent seasons.
KBC will broadcast a total of 68 matches, featuring two games per match week, on both its TV and Radio platforms.
FKF President Nick Mwendwa expressed optimism that this partnership will enhance the accessibility of Kenyan football to households, boosting the league's commercial value and contributing to the long-term goal of making the FKF Premier League self-sustainable.
The broadcast on KBC will commence from matchday 13 this weekend. Mwendwa also acknowledged the Ministry of Sports for its support in the development of football programs at the national level.
