Alex Mwangi of the Windsor Golf and Country Club is the National Caddy's Golf Tournament 2025 Champion.
Playing off handicap 4, Mwangi maintained excellent form on the par-73 layout at Nakuru Golf Club to claim the championship title.
The tournament saw caddies drawn from 22 golf clubs across the country battle it out in various categories.
Fresh from participating in the Muthaiga Open last weekend, Mwangi recorded 77 gross points, leading the Gross category beating second-placed, Godfrey Waweru, who played off a handicap 3 and scored 79 Gross points. John Kariuki finished third, also with 79 Gross points.
At the award ceremony, Mwangi expressed his surprise at winning, stating, "This was more of a surprise. Even though I was in contention, I faced very competent opponents, but I still made it to the podium. We are grateful to our sponsor, NCBA, this year and invite other institutions to support us through sponsorships as we pursue our dreams of being better golfers and joining the elite and professional ranks in future."
