He said Hinn is an American evangelist, teacher, and author of best-selling books.
"He has impacted the world for more than five decades with the lifesaving and miracle-working messages of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He returns to Kenya after two decades, and we, the Churches of Kenya, are privileged to host him,” said Ng’ang’a.
The Archbishop revealed that the steering committee is working with key stakeholders to host local and international guests from more than 20 countries.
"We have partnered with events, media, and public relations management company Homeboyz Entertainment among others, on the ground handling and logistics for this mega crusade,” Ng’ang’a said.
He spoke on Tuesday while addressing the media on preparations of the crusade at Biblica headquarters in Nairobi.
Hinn comes to Kenya for the second time after two decades. He was invited in September last year by First Lady Racheal Ruto.
The televangelist revealed in one of his preaching last year, that the ="https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/entertainment/news/article/2001481929/benny-hinn-invited-by-rachel-ruto-for-government-sponsored-crusade"> First Lady flew to Florida Ng’ang’a however said the prayers have been organised by the church.
“This event has been organised, funded and coordinated by the churches of Kenya, which include both mainstream churches and evangelical churches in the country, with the aim of connecting the body of Christ in Kenya with the global body of Christ,” he said.
The committee assured that proper logistical and security measures have been put in place and they are working together with police, National Youth Serviceb(NYS), private security companies and ambulances.
Bishop Joseph Kilioba, former Presiding Bishop of PEFA churches, said the coming of Hinn will be beneficial to the country.
“The crusade will impact the country economically since there will be guests from over 20 countries and thus hotel business will record booming business, same as the matatu industry, which will benefit by transporting people to and from the crusade,” Kilioba said.
