In the Woman Representative category, Rahab Mukami ranked first, followed by Beatrice Adagala and Betty Maina.

According to the organisers, the rankings were based on performance indicators including service delivery, leadership, innovation and integrity, although the methodology and data sources used were not publicly detailed.

Speaking during the event, Politrack Africa Chief Executive Officer John Benson urged leaders to adopt data-driven approaches in governance, noting the country is about 16 months away from the 2027 General Election.

“Leadership is not about being celebrated tonight; it is about being accountable every day,” he said.

The awards come as scrutiny of public officials’ performance is expected to intensify ahead of the 2027 polls, with a growing focus on service delivery and accountability in government.
