Speaking at the Full Gospel Church Magomano in Juja, Kiambu County yesterday, Gachagua said the 2010 Constitution guarantees all Kenyans access to justice through four levels of the judiciary.

He also announced plans to launch a political party, saying their coalition will rally behind a single presidential candidate in the 2027 general election to challenge ="https://www.google.com/url?client=internal-element-cse&cx=011965659370381653902:7awkdkhs2_y&q=https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/opinion/article/2001518696/could-president-ruto-be-regretting-getting-dp-gachagua-impeached&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiB4OfDqp2NAxVSVaQEHXV0NIgQFnoECAgQAg&usg=AOvVaw1UKb0abV94ANNd41WiJbHG&fexp=72956999,72956998">President William Ruto<.

Allies of the former Deputy President, who accompanied him to the event, expressed optimism that the Judiciary will fully exonerate him following the court ruling that declared his impeachment unconstitutional.

The supporters hailed the court’s decision, asserting that it reaffirmed his legitimacy as Deputy President.

They argued that the Deputy ="https://www.google.com/url?client=internal-element-cse&cx=011965659370381653902:7awkdkhs2_y&q=https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/national/article/2001518636/court-hands-gachagua-win-says-only-chief-justice-can-pick-bench&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiB4OfDqp2NAxVSVaQEHXV0NIgQFnoECAUQAg&usg=AOvVaw1CgNTIi9sQDM1EDwxt0-3V&fexp=72956999,72956998">Chief Justice< acted beyond her mandate by empanelling the bench that heard Gachagua’s impeachment case, thus rendering the process invalid.

Turning to the ongoing debate surrounding the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), opposition leaders present dismissed fears about the electoral body's leadership.

They maintained that elections are determined at the polling stations and not by individuals heading the commission.

Meanwhile, Gachagua took to the stage to end months of political speculation by announcing plans to launch a new political party.

He disclosed that the party would be unveiled later this week, nearly seven months after his controversial ouster from office.

He revealed that the launch would be preceded by a major celebration to rally supporters and signal his renewed ="https://www.google.com/url?client=internal-element-cse&cx=011965659370381653902:7awkdkhs2_y&q=https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/opinion/article/2001518677/gachagua-giving-opposition-the-discipline-it-desperately-needed&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiB4OfDqp2NAxVSVaQEHXV0NIgQFnoECAcQAg&usg=AOvVaw2xokpQ-ONQxvn6jepGxhM0&fexp=72956999,72956998">political ambitions<.

Gachagua’s announcement comes amid shifting alliances and growing anticipation of realignments ahead of the next general election.
