The High Court in Eldoret has adjourned the hearing of the murder case of slain international athlete Agnes Tirop after her father, who was testifying, complained of fatigue.
Vincent Tirop, who appeared before Justice Robert Wananda, was expected to testify in the murder case of his sixth-born daughter.
The deceased's father had taken the witness stand to give his evidence for about two hours before the court took a break. However, after the break, Tirop could not answer the questions anymore.
Before the adjournment of the case, Tirop had denied allegations that his daughter was married to the accused ="https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/article/2001485421/suspect-in-athlete-agnes-tirops-murder-released-on-sh500000-cash-bail">Ibrahim Rotich. <
Court Prosecutor David Fedha asked the court to adjourn the case until next month when cross-examination by defence lawyer Ngigi Mbugua, who is representing the key suspect, will proceed.
