Defending champions Kabras Sugar continued with their massive point scoring form after thrashing Mwamba 73-0 in a one sided Kenya Cup match played at the Moi ASK Showground in Kakamega on Saturday.

Kenya Simbas winger Griffin Chao scored a hat trick and 13th try of the campaign to inspire the sugar men to their fifth straight win of the 2024-2025 season.

Patrick Sabatia got the hosts off to a perfect start after crossing over the whitewash for a 7-0 lead after Eric Cantona added the extras before Barry Robinson made it 14-0 after another conversion by Cantona.

Rising star Jackson Siketa and Cantona would join in the part for the bonus point try as the sugar millers extended their lead to 28-0.

Chao's first try pushed the scores to 35-0 after Cantona's extras before Robinson ensured the millers will take a comfortable 42-0 halftime lead.

In the final half, Collins Indeche scored straight from kick off for a 49-0 lead after Cantona's successful boot as Chao completed his hat trick after his second half brace.

Clinton Litali rounded off the scores with a late unconverted try.

In Nairobi, Impala picked their second win of the season after edging out an impressive Kisumu RFC side 17-12 and move further away from the relegation zone.
