Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has intensified his calls for the country to address the national debt problem, warning that the country risks plunging into a deep financial crisis in future.

Ndindi said instead of the leaders condemning his sentiments, they should work to find a solution to tackle the bet crisis.

He said the national external debt needs to be reviewed, warning the leaders against politicking instead of working on the solution he provided.

Speaking at General Ihura Stadium during the graduation ceremony of 1,135 youth and adults under the Kiharu Fanikisha Programme, said the effect of additional debts will be catastrophic to the nation if the situation is not checked.

“After I spoke about the debt crisis some leaders condemned the comments instead of working on the solutions to save the country from the crises,” said Ndindi former the budget and appropriation committee.

He revealed that when he served in the budget committee he advised the leaders on the ways to manage the debts.

On the performance of the NG CDF, Ndindi said the leaders should continue transforming their areas, instead of sponsoring fights.

Kiharu NG CDF, he said, has transformed the lives of the youth by upgrading them through engaging in short courses and initiating development programmes.

He advised leaders to always devise ways to initiate projects for the interest of the electorate, instead of mudslinging colleagues.

During the event, Murang’a MCAs’ led by Charles Machigo and Gladys Wambui castigated the leaders who had been working against Ndindi based on their interests.

Machigo said the leaders working for the downfall of Kiharu MP based on his development programmes, should visit villages, and realise the positive impact to the community.

“As Murang’a leaders we urge those fighting Ndindi, should come for benchmarking in Kiharu and understand the NG CDF impact,” said Machigo.
