Chad suspends visas for US citizens after US travel ban: presidency

Chad announced Thursday it was suspending the granting of visas to US citizens in response to the US government's decision to impose travel bans on people from 12 countries, including Chad.

"Chad has neither planes to offer, nor billions of dollars to give, but Chad has its dignity and its pride," President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno said on his official Facebook page.
