Governor Mutuma said Mr Kaberia will guide his administration in financial issues, and said he meant to tap into the wealth of experience and expertise the new team of advisors possess, to spur the growth of the county.
“I am pleased to introduce my newly appointed Advisors who will be supporting my office in key areas of governance,” Mutuma stated.
He said bringing in Prof Naituli will help in promoting unity and development in Meru.
“His wealth of knowledge in leadership and governance will be key in promoting unity, inclusivity, and political stability in Meru. I am confident that with this strong team by my side, we are on the right path to overcoming the challenges we face as a county. Their guidance will help us make better-informed decisions for the benefit of all Meru residents,” he said.
Since he took over after the impeachment of Kawira Mwangaza, the new county boss has made several appointments from various political parties as he bids to implement his state agenda of uniting the people and leaders in the county.
He picked Linda Kiome, who was the running mate of then UDA candidate Mithika Linturi for the Governorship, as the Deputy Governor.
