State House aide's bodyguard shoots man dead in Nairobi

A man was shot dead by a bodyguard attached to a State House official following a confrontation in the Amboseli area, Kawangware, Nairobi County.
An officer at the Muthangari Police Station who spoke on condition of anonymity told The Standard that the deceased was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital a few minutes after the incident.
It is believed that the two disagreed over a pool bet in one of the joints in the Amboseli area.
The armed bodyguard later pumped seven bullets (at close range) into the body of the man identified as Amos Lagat aged 35.
"However, the officer came to the police station to report that he had been attacked by unknown people who were after his firearm," the officer stated
