A 34-year-old nurse based in Githurai 44 has been arraigned following a bizarre incident in which she allegedly coerced a female patient into exposing herself to a male client for “sperm harvesting.”
The accused, Perpetual Wambui Mwangi, appeared before Makadara Chief Magistrate Kennedy Bidali facing charges of intentionally and unlawfully compelling the complainant, identified as C.S.G., to commit an indecent act against her will.
In what began as a routine visit, the complainant and her two siblings had gone to the clinic for blood tests at their mother’s request on April 13. A dispute reportedly arose over the cost, with the siblings having Sh100 each while the nurse allegedly demanded Sh150, initially turning them away.

The situation, however, took a disturbing turn when the nurse allegedly called the complainant back. According to prosecution files, Wambui asked the young woman to assist a male patient in “rising to the occasion” so that his sperm could be harvested.
She is said to have promised the complainant a “handsome reward” from the male patient in exchange for her cooperation.
The complainant alleges she was instructed to strip naked for the man, who then directed how she should present herself. After the act, the man reportedly left the room, and the nurse took the complainant’s phone number, promising payment later.
The ordeal escalated the following day when the complainant began receiving threatening calls from two different numbers. The callers, who claimed to be DCI officers, demanded Sh14,000, threatening to leak nude photos and videos of her if she failed to comply.
It was then that the victim realised she had been secretly filmed during the encounter. She informed her mother, and the matter was reported to authorities, leading to Wambui’s arrest.
Wambui appeared in court and denied all charges. She was granted a cash bail of Sh50,000 or an alternative bond of Sh100,000.
The case will be mentioned on October 19 as police continue to pursue a male accomplice believed to be part of the alleged extortion scheme.
