Slovenia's President Natasa Pirc Musar is in Kenya for a three-day state visit.
Marking her first visit to the country, Musar is expected to grace tomorrow’s Madaraka Day celebrations, in Homa Bay county, as the Chief guest.
She will also hold a bilateral meeting with President William Ruto, with discussions focusing on economic and development cooperation, regional peace and security, and multilateral cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.
“She will also undertake development-related engagements,” the ministry said.
Her visit follows the November 2024 visit to Kenya by the Slovenian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations.
