President William Ruto has demoted two of his Cabinet Secretaries, barely six months since they were appointed.
Former ICT CS Margaret Nyambura and her Agriculture counterpart Andrew Karanja are set to be replaced once the president's nominees are vetted and approved by Parliament.
The two will be replaced by former Health CS Mutahi Kagwe (Agriculture) and former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo (ICT).
As a result, Nyambura has been named an ambassador to Ghana while Karanja heads to Brazil embassy.
The two little-known personalities, were appointed to the cabinet after Ruto dissolved his entire cabinet in the wake of anti-government protests in June-July 2024.
