The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has extended candidate registration for its Phase II grassroots elections to 21st March, pushing the deadline by a week.
The party also revised election dates for six counties.
The National Elections Board (NEB) announced that polling center-level elections will take place on 11th and 12th April across various counties.
However, voting dates have been adjusted for Turkana, Bungoma, Taita Taveta, Migori, Kisumu and Siaya.
“UDA remains committed to ensuring a transparent and inclusive electoral process,” said NEB Chairman Anthony Mwaura in a statement on Tuesday, March 11.

Counties voting on April 11 include Kitui, Makueni, Machakos, Kajiado, Taita Taveta, Kisii and Nyamira.
Those set to vote on April 12 include Garissa, Tana River, Bungoma, Turkana, Migori, Kisumu, Siaya, Isiolo, Marsabit, Wajir, Mandera, Kwale, Mombasa, Kilifi and Lamu.
The party urged all interested aspirants to complete the registration process before the new deadline.

This phase of elections follows earlier grassroots polls aimed at strengthening the party’s structure ahead of the 2027 General Election.
