Seven people lost their lives in a grisly road accident on Friday on Nakuru-Nairobi highway at Kamandura.
The accident happened when a 14-seater Matatu heading to Kijabe from Nairobi lost control and rolled severely before landing into a ditch.
Witnesses said that they heard a brake screech followed by a loud bang, a sound that attracted villagers to the scene.
Villagers called for reinforcement from the nearby Tigoni police station to help in rescuing trapped passengers.
