After an impressive display in the opening two legs of the World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series, Kenya Lionesses head into the final leg in Krakow, Poland, brimming with confidence and determination.
Having dominated the first two legs with an unbeaten run, the Lionesses are now keen to maintain their momentum as they edge closer to their dream of HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series qualification.
The Lionesses have been drawn into Pool A, where they will face Belgium, Colombia, and Thailand in what promises to be a fiercely contested battle.
With only the top four teams from this leg advancing to the crucial playoffs in Los Angeles, Kenya will need to deliver another outstanding performance to keep their qualification hopes alive.

Head coach Dennis Mwanja is optimistic about his team’s chances and emphasized the importance of staying focused and executing their game plan.

The World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series, introduced in 2020, serves as a crucial development platform for emerging rugby nations and provides a clear promotion pathway to the top-tier HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
The top four men’s and women’s teams with the most cumulative points across the three Challenger rounds will book their tickets to Los Angeles on May 3-4, where they will face the bottom four ranked teams from the HSBC SVNS 2025 in a high-stakes promotion and relegation playoff.
With the Lionesses showcasing their prowess throughout the series, their determination to break into the elite ranks of global rugby sevens is evident.
