Kenya’s Swimmer Maria Brunlehner has already checked in for her first training session barely hours after she touched down at the pre-Olympic Games Camp in Miramas, Marseille.
The Grand Canyon University-based swimmer is itching to make a mark on the global stage when she steps on the blocks in Paris.
"My sister did her best, but unfortunately didn't make it to the Olympic Games during her time, so I'll be doing this for her," Brunlehner said.
Brunlehner, who also trains with counterpart and Tokyo 2020 Olympian Emily Muteti, is confident she will draw from the experience of teammate to make the most of the chance.
Maria punched her ticket to Paris after accumulating world aquatics points that made her emerge top in Kenya.
