Popular Mugithi artist Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu, popularly known as Samidoh had testified at the Milimani Law Courts during the inquest into the mysterious death of his nephew, Jeff Mwathi.

Samidoh, a key witness in the case, told the court that he does not believe Mwathi's death at an apartment in Roysambu in Kasarani was natural and urged the court to establish the actual cause.

He denied that Mwathi had any suicidal thoughts or had ever attempted suicide.

He also stated that he has no bad blood with fellow musician DJ Fatxo, who is the prime suspect in the case.

"I have no bad blood with DJ Fatxo we come from Nyandarua county and he is a performing artist like me and therefore we do not have any competition between us," Samidoh told magistrate Rose Ndumbi.

Samidoh revealed that Mwathi and DJ Fatxo had a business relationship and that he had seen them together a few months before Mwathi's death.
