FKF-PL: AFC Leopards dance their way to second in the standings

AFC Leopards left it late on Saturday as they narrowly edged out Bidco United 1-0 to move second in the FKF Premier League match played at Thika Stadium which hosted a double header.

Sydney Lokale grabbed the winner for Ingwe who bounced back to winning ways after their disappointing loss to Posta Rangers their last time out.

Rangers stunned Ingwe 1-0 on September 15 and Leopards needed to respond especially after their statement 4-0 win over Mathare United during the opening day of the 2024-2025 season.

In the early kick off match, KCB Football Club moved top of the FKF Premier League table after thumping Posta Rangers 3-0.

Francis Kahiro scored a brace to inspire the bankers to the win that sees them stretch their unbeaten run in the 2024-2025 season to three matches.

Kahiro got the bankers off to a perfect start after following up Lameck Oloo's ferocious shot to give KCB a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute.

The inform forward returned to haunt Posta again and stretching KCB’s lead to 2-0 after tapping from close range a well delivered cross from Kevin Okumu at the stroke of half time.

In the final half, Stephen Etyang came off the bench to seal the win for KCB who maintain their top spot with seven points after three matches.

The bankers got off their campaign with a 0-0 draw against Kariobangi Sharks before seeing off Muranga SEAL 2-0.
