Businesses to close in Eastleigh on Thursday over murder of three

Businesses in Eastleigh, Nairobi, have been urged to remain closed for the better part of Thursday morning following the murder of three women.

This is according to a communication issued by Eastleigh Business community Chairperson Ahmed Abdullahi on Wednesday.

In his communique, Abdullahi send a message of condolences to the family of three women murdered in unclear circumstances.

"Eastleigh businesses shall shutdown tomorrow (Thursday) till after dhuhur to mourn the death," Abdullahi says.

Further the business community is expected to address a media briefing.

Reports indicate that last week, a woman went to the hospital but never returned home.

Hours later, her two daughters left home to go to look for her.

CCTV footage making rounds on social media shows the two sisters leaving their house in Eastleigh, Nairobi and boarding a taxi at around 9 pm.

This is the last time they were seen alive. Their mutilated bodies were later found in separate locations.
