Former Education Minister Peter Castro Oloo Aringo is dead.

Aringo died on November 1, 2024, at the age of 83.

Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi confirmed Aringo's death in a social media post, noting that Aringo had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Nairobi.

"I share the sad news of the passing of Hon. Oloo Aringo, former Cabinet Minister and Alego Usonga MP. Hon. Aringo died this evening at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi," Atandi said.
