Oburu Odinga captured netizen’s attention after appearing in an ill-fitting suit at KICC during the joint ODM-UDA Parliamentary Group briefing.
The octogenarian politician had on a noticeably oversized attire.
The amused netizens quickly jumped to social media, to share their sentiments, @Evelynj, posted “Tailor wa Museveni lended him a helping hand ama ni yule wa wavinya ndeti?”, while @CaptainDominicO, asked, “Hakuna fundi? Why is Oburu wearing baggy suit? Oburu needs Baba’s tailor too, he actually needs everything”.
Odinga was draped in a brownish-beige suit that rather appeared a tad too large for his size. The coat’s neck was extra wide with the left side of the coat’s shoulder seemingly ‘hanging’, as the suit’s sleeve appeared extremely long almost covering his fingers and had to be folded back.
The trouser did not do him any justice as well, it was large, with its length surpassing his height and appeared folded around the ankles as well.

The ODM leader boldly took to the podium, and told off the nay-sayers of the event’s agenda, “Those saying there's nothing done on the 10-point agenda, shame on them because there's a lot that has been done and there's a lot to be done".
Further clarifying that the 10-point agenda did not form the basis of the broad-based government arrangement but it was rather meant to only strengthen it.
"Broad-based government started before the 10-point agenda came. It cannot depend on the 10-point agenda which was meant to strengthen the broad-based arrangement," he added.
He was addressing criticism from ODM’s Linda Mwananchi faction led by the likes of Edwin Sifuna, Babu Owino and James Orengo, which faulted the broad-based arrangement for treating March 7, 2026, as an anniversary rather than a deadline.
The faction further questioned why the President extended the Zani-led committee’s mandate by another 60 days.
This comes amid the ongoing wrangles in the party, with seemingly formation of two different factions supporting Linda Ground and Linda Mwananchi.
