Trans Nzoia-two-month amnesty for surrender of weapons

The government has given those with illegal fire arms a two-month amnesty to surrender them to the authorities.

County Commissioner Anne Gakuria (pictured) said there were over 50,000 unlicensed fire arms in the hands of civilians which were used for crime.
