Githunguri Member of Parliament Gathoni Wamuchomba has been summoned to appear before the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Kiambu Road.
According to sources, the summons relate to her alleged involvement in anti-Ruto chants on Friday evening.
The exact reason for the summons has not been independently verified, but the MP is currently en route to the DCI headquarters.
"The CCIO Kiambu has, through telephone, called and summoned me because the great people of Githunguri refused to be lured to fake promises and projects that never materialised."
