KAA now cites public interest as it cancels Adani deal

The government has terminated a multi-billion-shilling deal with the Adani Group to refurbish Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The decision, detailed in a one-page letter from the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) to Adani’s representative Alok Patni, cites failure to meet public interest standards due to significant governance issues.
