Seven-time Ligue 1 champions Lyon will remain in Ligue 1 next season after winning their appeal against relegation, the French Football Federation (FFF) said on Wednesday.

In June, Lyon were relegated to the second-tier Ligue 2 by French football's financial watchdog having been under budgetary restrictions from the body since November.
