Francis Kung'u bounced back to winning ways as the Tee-Off with Crown series made a return to the Kenya Railway Golf Club after a two-year hiatus over the weekend.
His victory was spurred by consistent chiding by his playing partners, who've been making fun of his ballooning handicap.
Playing off handicap 21, Kung'u registered a winning score of 42 stableford points to star over a field of 132 golfers who took to the course.
"I have been busy of late, and I've not played enough. However, from last week, I eased out, and now my golf has started coming up. I've been told by my four-ball that this isn't my handicap. That I needed to do better, and here I'm, playing some good golf," said Kung'u.
