For many people, motorcycles are simply a means of transport. For Webston Kimani, however, they became the foundation of a thriving business venture built on trust, reliability, and professionalism.
Kimani is the founder of Webston Premium Delivery, a specialised logistics and errand service that caters to clients seeking secure, discreet, and time-sensitive deliveries. His entrepreneurial journey demonstrates how personal passion, when combined with innovation and a commitment to service, can create meaningful business opportunities.
The idea behind Webston Premium Delivery emerged from two things Kimani deeply loves: motorcycles and travel.
As an avid rider who enjoys long-distance adventures, he spent years exploring different places and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Along the way, he began to see motorcycles differently.

“What started as a passion for riding gradually became something more. I realised that my motorcycle was not just a machine for adventure; it was also a valuable business asset capable of solving real problems,” Kimani told City Biz.
As he navigated Nairobi’s busy streets and interacted with different people, Kimani noticed a gap in the market. Many individuals and businesses required urgent deliveries, confidential document transportation, and secure handling of valuable parcels. While numerous delivery options existed, he felt there was room for a service that prioritised professionalism, discretion, and trust.
“People are not simply paying for transportation. They are paying for reliability, peace of mind, and the confidence that their important items will be handled with care,” he notes.
Today, the business specialises in handling high-value parcels, confidential deliveries, personal shopping assignments, and urgent errands for clients who value dependable service.
Kimani credits motorcycles with teaching him lessons that have proven invaluable in business. Riding long distances requires discipline, preparation, patience, and resilience; qualities he now applies to entrepreneurship.
“Motorcycling taught me how to remain focused, prepare for challenges, and stay committed to a destination despite obstacles,” he says, adding:
“Those same principles are essential when building a business.”
He also recognised that motorcycles offer a unique advantage in urban logistics. Their ability to navigate traffic efficiently makes them ideal for time-sensitive deliveries, particularly in a city like Nairobi where congestion can significantly delay conventional transport.
Rather than viewing his motorcycle as merely a hobby, Kimani transformed it into a tool for creating value. In doing so, he turned his passion into a venture that not only generates income but also provides practical solutions for individuals and businesses.
At the heart of Webston Premium Delivery is a commitment to trust and integrity. Because the company handles private, high-value, and time-sensitive deliveries, Kimani understands that professionalism must remain non-negotiable.
“Trust is our biggest asset. We would rather decline a suspicious assignment than compromise the integrity and reputation we are working hard to build,” he told CityBiz.
To protect both clients and the business, Webston Premium Delivery has established clear operational procedures. These include verifying client identities when necessary, maintaining delivery records, confirming the nature of transported items, and refusing to handle illegal, dangerous, or suspicious goods.
Kimani’s errand enterprise also emphasises transparency throughout the delivery process. Clients are expected to provide accurate information regarding their parcels, while all services are conducted within legal and ethical standards.
“Our goal is to build a brand founded on accountability, professionalism, and trust,” Kimani explains, adding:
“We want clients to feel confident that every assignment is handled responsibly.”
Looking ahead, Kimani has ambitious but carefully measured plans for growth. His vision is to develop Webston Premium Delivery into one of Kenya’s most trusted premium logistics and errand service providers.
In the short term, he is focused on strengthening the company’s reputation through consistent service delivery and exceptional customer experience. As demand increases, he intends to expand both the workforce and operational capacity of the business.
“I want to bring on board professionally trained riders and support staff who share our values of integrity, customer care, and professionalism,” he says.
He also plans to invest in a fleet of premium motorcycles and high-performance touring machines that reflect the company’s commitment to excellence.
Additionally, technology will play a significant role in the firm’s future growth strategy through parcel tracking systems, digital record-keeping, and enhanced client communication platforms.
For Kimani, Webston Premium Delivery represents far more than moving parcels from one location to another. It is about delivering confidence, reliability, and peace of mind.
As he puts it: “Not every package simply needs a rider. Some require trust, some require discretion, and some deserve to be delivered in style.
