KCB maintained their three-point lead at the helm of the FKF Premier League standings despite a 0-0 draw with defending champions during Wednesday's clash played at Dandora Stadium.

The bankers who are unbeaten after six matches lead the log with 14 points, three points more than Kariobangi Sharks and newbies Mara Sugar.

Sharks failed to capitalise on KCB stalemate at SportPesa Arena when a goal by Desmond Agofa saw Bidco United steal a late 1-0 win and thus ending William Muluya’s unbeaten run.

On the other hand, Mara Sugar continued with their impressive start on their league debut after forcing a 1-1 draw with Posta Rangers at Awendo Stadium in Migori County.

The newly promoted side have won three matches, drawn twice and lost once in their first six matches in the topflight league.

Kakamega Homeboyz at the same time condemned Nairobi City Stars to their third defeat of the season after a 2-0 win Mumias Sports Complex.

Simba wa Nairobi have had a tough start to the 2024-2025 season where they have failed to win any of their five matches played so far with the two points coming off their draws against Sofapaka and Bidco United.

AFC Leopards inconsistent run in the league also continued after Ingwe lost 1-0 to hosts Murang'a SEAL.

Humphrey Obina scored the lone goal in the 64th minute off a free kick set piece, a goal that moved Murang'a  to seventh with eight points.

Other matches saw Tusker draw 1-1 with Ulinzi Stars, Sofapaka edge Shabana 1-0 and Kenya Police hit Mathare United 2-0 while Talanta drew with Bandari 0-0 .
