Vihiga marks the 39th medical camp we have held since we began in 2023 covering 35 counties. We have integrated technology into these camps, to enable us to follow up on patients’ progress after getting treatment. Through partnerships with county governments ensuring we reach more communities,” said M-Pesa Foundation Executive Director Karen Basiye.
Vihiga is the 35th County to benefit from the initiative since M-Pesa Foundation launched the medical camp programme which has benefitted residents in Nairobi, Machakos, Taita Taveta, Nakuru, Kwale, Siaya, Migori, Kajiado and Kisii among others.
